We all remember listening to the stories of the Mahabharat from our Grannies. The story did not have a specific time to be narrated, it would come out randomly at any moment or when you ask anything which somehow mysteriously is linked with the epic, but it would still sound so interesting that you just sit down on the ground and listen to your grandmom who is now the Narrator. After this Gradually an interest develops with the epic, We start to buy books of the epic in the form of short stories or episodes like The Amar Chitra Katha and then comes the serials and the movies of the epic and its characters. In fact, There are Fan Groups of Characters like Arjuna, Karna (Fan here), Bhishma etc. There are various retellings, Shows, Character Stories, Plays and other literary works of the epic which would only increase your attention of the epic.
The Grandmom's stories, The Books, The TV serials and Movies have just entered the "Shores of an endless ocean" they have not delved deeper or at least did not enter the shallow waters of the Ocean. Mostly every story that you have heard is inspired by the epic but is either distorted from the epic, Absent in the epic or interpreted in its own way. The Actual epic is Vast, Diverse and Surprisingly Everyone in the epic are shaded grey.
So, Get your scuba diving suits ready and hop on the boat to enter the waters, dive deeper and explore the depths of this Ocean. and Dont forget your oxygen supplies Please.
